Represents defendants charged with serious criminal violations. 2 recent white-collar criminal defense cases to go to trial ended in a jury verdict of not guilty in one and a hung jury in the other. Recent Felony was dismissed by the trial Judge at the close of the presentation of evidence by the State.

Has brought and won cases involving serious personal injury and medical malpractice, violation of civil rights, employment discrimination and infringements of constitutional rights. We were fortunate to be able to assist the family of Rhoni Reuter obtain Justice from Marni Yang who was convicted in March 2011 of killing Reuter, the pregnant girlfriend of former Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle. Yang is serving two life sentences in prison for the 2007 murder. A Cook County jury awarded $40,000,000.00 to the family of as the result of a civil case against Marni Yang, the woman found guilty of Reuter’s murder.

We represent plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of commercial cases. We represent many mid-sized companies and the individuals who own and operate them. We represent shareholders and individual Corporate Directors when sued by the Government or others.

We filed a class action suit against the City of Chicago. The suit alleges that the city has failed to properly install and maintain curb ramps that people with limited mobility use when crossing streets that the city is violating the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. The suit calls for Court to issue Preliminary and Permanent Injunctions forcing the city to install and repair ramps whenever it resurfaces or repairs streets.
